Welcome to France

 Alice and I have arrived in France and were welcomed by a little touch of Australia on arrival.

This was spotted in the arrival hall in Biarritz, we are staying here for the night before moving to St Jean Pied de Port tomorrow.

Last night we discovered that the total number of pilgrims completing the Camino de Santiago has
exceeded 400,000, the previous record year was 2019 with a total of 347,000.

Our hotel tonight is very plush, it will be our last taste of luxury for a while.
